faster...stronger...higher....

yes! its that time of the year again........august 15 and sports day have finally come........and of course gone.....independence day was sad, and we had a pathetic folk dance display which made you wonder if it would be better at kargil......but then of course i led my house(alak) for the march past and thats gladdening enough!
Sports day wasnt any respite though,coz i cudnt do much with my broken leg!
so all i did was give javelin a shot........and all hopes of getting anywhere with the bloody thing crashed with the javelin! my first throw was pathetic.......it looked like i was trying to spear an pigeon in the middle of an earthquake!
but the second and third throws were obvious improvements.........but hard luck....all three were fouls!!but what the heck i was keeping up with tradition..........three out of four of us from alak fouled all the three atampts!!
but i led on sports day too and that sortof kept my spirits up.......hehe........
now sports day is oover......and my house kept up with tradition alright......ended up last!!
bhagi came first and yak was mighty pleased..... :) .....
anyway failure is a part of life......next up :teachers day:september 15th!!
